About the Role
The manufacture, installation, maintenance, and repair of workshop lubrication storage, pumping and dispensing equipment. Installation of oil, air, water, and grease reticulation systems. Fabrication of tanks and gantries and other related equipment. Ensure work is carried out safely and you are equipped and always wearing the right safety equipment for the job being done. Maintenance of Alemlube Project Installation assets including vehicles, tools, welders etc ensuring they are regularly maintained and in a safe working order. Provide accurate installation bill of materials, labour, and other costs on to the Project Supervisor for invoicing/job costing purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in the design, development, installation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Conduct performance and diagnostic testing to ensure system reliability and compliance.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to support equipment fabrication and assembly.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for use by engineers and clients.
- Estimate material, equipment, and labour requirements for project execution.
- Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with relevant safety and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience
- An AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant and similar environment experience.
Skills
Essential
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial processes.
- Familiarity with CAD tools and diagnostic instruments.
- Solid communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to workplace health, safety, and compliance.
Desirable
- Experience in one or more of our key industries: automotive, agriculture, food processing, or mining.
- Understanding of Australian/New Zealand engineering regulations and practices.
