Commercial Project Foreman

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to oversee and manage all aspects of project delivery — from office-based planning to on-site execution. This role combines hands-on supervision with administrative responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site crews
• Manage project timelines, schedules, and deliverables from pre-construction to handover
• Review and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Prepare, manage, and track quotes and variations using construction management software
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports and site diaries
• Monitor budgets and project costs, identifying risks and mitigation strategies
• Ensure adherence to WHS and environmental regulations on all sites

About You

• Experience in supervising construction projects, ideally in a similar regional environment
• Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors
• Hands-on, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approach
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Sound understanding of construction processes, codes, and industry regulations
• Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and specifications

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in a construction supervisory role
• Current QLD Construction White Card or the ability to obtain
• Valid driver’s licence
• First Aid and CPR certification (desirable)
