Your New Role
They require an experienced Bookkeeper with at least 3+ years’ experience working in a similar dynamic, public practice-style environment. The team enjoys what they do and would like to welcome someone who can add to the vibrancy of the workplace while performing at a consistently high level.
As well as this, you will be responsible for the following
- Running the day-to-day transactional processes
- Assistance with day-to-day invoice entry and bank reconciliations
- Creditor management and payment runs
- Debtor management and sales invoicing
- Month-end reconciliations and reporting to clients
- Preparation of financial statements
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS returns
- Preparation and lodgement of Payroll Tax & Superannuation
Your Profile
You are a Bookkeeper with sound experience in a public practice-type environment.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy. You will also have excellent time management and organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, prioritise deadlines, and display a professional level of communication, both verbal and written.
As well as this, you will have the following
- Studied accounting and/or have at least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role
- Proficiency in using Excel and/or Google Sheets
- An advanced understanding of Xero
- Experience preparing financial statements
- A genuine vision for long-term employment with the Company
- Full work rights in Australia
