Your New Role
A reliable and detail-oriented Accounts and Administration Assistant to support the team's day-to-day financial processes and office operations.
This role is responsible for supporting the business across both accounts and administration functions. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of financial processes and daily office operations.
As well as this, you will be responsible for the following
- Responsible for accounts payable and expense allocations • Supporting payroll processing and accounts receivable when required • Maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software • Providing general administrative support to the wider team • Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence • Maintaining and organising office files and records • Assisting with travel bookings and compliance requirements for site visits • Performing data entry and preparing documentation as required
This is a part-time permanent role of approximately 18 to 20 hours per week, with flexibility on how the hours are distributed across three days. School hours can be accommodated.
Your Profile
A talented Accounts and Administration Assistant who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where accuracy, organisation, and reliability are valued. You take pride in maintaining high standards in your work and enjoy supporting a team to ensure operations run smoothly.
You will have strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. You communicate clearly and professionally and are comfortable managing both accounting and administrative responsibilities.
As well as this, you will have
- Previous experience in an accounts and/or administrative role
- A basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience with Xero accounting software
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
